Woo Hoo!
Well, the news has come....Patrick has been offered a job with IDG. He'll be a site manager, with a decent salary--they're giving us $2000 for moving expenses (we're getting more details on that, too--are they just going to give us the money, or do we need to turn in receipts?), there are very attainable bonuses each month, and he gets $1000 for signing a Non-Competition Clause. We're very excited; he'll be a trainee at the Belmont, NC site until he gets trained...we're not sure how long that will be, and then the final work site will come later. IDG has been mentioning Florence, SC, which is not our first choice, but we're flexible. We've been looking at Florence on the Internet, and they have a Target, so I think we'll be okay.
We're just excited to be close to moving forward on our next adventure.
Not sure when the start date will be...Patrick will give a two-weeks' notice, and my boss said she'd like a months' notice.

Well, it really doesn't matter where we end up as long as we have each other.
Plus either way you are closer to me. THAT'S all that matters. Right? RIGHT?
Papa and I are so happy and really proud. There is nothing more important than seeing your kids be happy!!!! We really like that!!!!
Come on down to Florence. They apparently have alligators there, so we could tie steaks to Anna and use her as bait. Just like in that Jerry Reed song, "Amos Moses".
As long as someone comes to visit, that's all I care about...

This time I will personally send out the promise that I will come visit now that i don't have a ball and chain tied to me!!!
