More snow pictures!

Okay, I'm cutting the comments to get straight to the pictures.

Enjoy!

Yard, off of our back patio, looking right.

Pear tree. Everything just looks so pretty and clean when it snows...

Daddy and Noah at the top of our subdivision. Wanted to check out the main roads. Yup. They're icy!

Noah sitting in the snow. He was doing a 1/2 snow angel.

Kicking the snow. It's such a lovely powdery snow and he had a lot of fun kicking it around.

Noah in our front yard. I love the silhouette of the monkey ears.

Close up of Noah; wish it were more in focus!

Noah doing a snow belly--sort of a reverse snow angel.

Our front yard. And our monkey.

Mommy doing a snow angel--Noah wouldn't join me for this one. Note the beaver mittens!

Noah playing in the snow.

Daddy and Noah.

Daddy repositioning one of Noah's mittens. Okay, I confess--they're mine, but we had to get him another pair of mittens, then put these on top to keep his fingers warm. The snow is that kind that when it gets on fleece (or dog fur, if I remember right) it just balls up & it's hard to get it off and then it just hangs around, making your hands cold. Unless you have beaver mittens. Then your hands are impervious to cold.

Proof! We got 4 inches!

Looks like so much fun. I remember those days. Playing in the snow until you were cold and exhausted, but exhilarated. Then coming inside for warm, dry clothes and hot chocolate!!!

Yeah...but you know, Noah still isn't into hot cocoa. He's even had Patrick's "Granny's Cocoa" and nope. He did drink some today, but only because I put in marshmallows & RediWhip in it. Once the 'mallows and 'Whip were gone, he was done... I, however, thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate! We did have to make an emergency stop at WalMart to buy some slipper socks for him today--we went to show a house, and he was playing in the snow that was still in the backyard, and his shoes, socks and bottom half of his pants were SOAKED but he was grinning from ear to ear!
