Our son is a genius.
Okay, so I may be a little prejudiced, but I think he's truly amazing. We were sitting here tonight, just playing with the markers, and I wanted to see how many words he recognized. Turns out, a lot--at least 27, and one punctuation mark.
See for yourself:
Then, when Daddy got home, he was talking to Noah about various other words: "What word is it if you put an "l" instead of a "b"?" (talking about "book"). The answer from Noah: "LOOK!"
He's just amazing. Simply amazing...

That is really amazing. Of course, I'm not surprised he is a genius. But his teachers are going to be blown away when he starts school!
His teachers are already blown away. His teacher now has to tell him to give the other students a chance... Today we were at the store, and he looked at a bag of potato chips & said, "Cod!" They were Cape Cod brand. To my knowledge, we've NEVER gone over the word "cod." "Catfish," maybe. "Cod?" I don't think so... He's also started to sound out words, too, and they're words that we're pretty sure we've not really talked about.
