Not sure I like the new Blogger...
Not sure if I mentioned it or not, but Blogger recently changed. Before, Patrick & I could use the same e-mail address to log in, the same password, etc. and would just choose which blog we wanted to post to--his or mine. Well, when Blogger changed to Google, you had to update to the new version. So I logged in, using the same information. And forgot to tell Patrick that he'd need to choose a different name. So when he logged in, and chose the same username that I chose, he became forever linked to my blog. I've researched the blog help archives, and from what I see, there's no way to break this link. So, what I've done is created a new account, and essentially a new blog for myself--but only as a cover. But, in doing so, I think I've removed my picture from my blog...which is okay, I guess. Most people know what I look like, and honestly, I don't change that much from day-to-day. Most people probably log in to see pictures of Noah, which is fine with me.
Speaking of Patrick's blog, do you all realize that he's posted some movies on his blog? Not sure if people were aware, because there's been no comments left, but just wanted to throw that out there.
I'll be brief with this update, because it's late, and I need to get my beauty sleep.
I started my first full week as a Realtor yesterday. So far, it's been pretty nifty--Noah and I went to Babies-R-Us, then we went to the mall. I bought a shirt.
I should have done this YEARS ago.
Seriously, though, Mom & Dad are in Florida this week, so Noah and I are winging it. When they're in town, there will probably be a few days where I drop Noah off for a couple of hours to go into the office, but this week, I'm just enjoying being a full-time Mommy. I do have an appointment to show some houses tomorrow night after work; it was supposed to be on Sunday, but some unavoidable things came up (as unavoidable things have a tendency to do that), so we just rescheduled.
I have, however, previewed a couple of homes with my business partner (she & I are teaming up for the listing side--splitting the marketing costs, doubling our efforts--I think it's a pretty sweet deal, since she knows everyone [whereas I don't] and I don't mind talking to people I hardly know and asking them if they've thought about using a Realtor [which she isn't sure she really likes to do]--so I think we compliment each other very well).... And these aren't your normal, every day, run-of-the-mill homes. The least expensive one we viewed was around $800,000.00. And yes, that's in U.S. Dollars. The most expensive one was $1.25 million. Although I must say that one that wowed me was only $989,000.00.
Sorry no pictures of Noah with this post. I'm on Daisy (my magical laptop), and haven't downloaded any new pictures. I should be able to find a moment or two tomorrow, and download the new pictures (or take some new pictures!) and post them.
